Chinese New Year!

On Sunday February 10th I am going to be a) wearing red and b) eating lots of pork. Why you ask? The answer is because on the Chinese New Year both of these things are considered good luck for the upcoming year.

This year is the year of the snake, which is the animal sign that I was born under. Those who follow Chinese astrology believe that when it is your year something big is supposed to happen. So I say, why not boost my chances of making this big thing good by making sure to eat pork and wear red!
